This series features artwork with perfect lines and and a touch of imperfection, some unpeeled tape celebrating both meticulous craft and the slight human touch of an unfinished gesture.
The inspiration for this series comes from working on many murals where a perfect tape peel was extremely satisfying, until it wasn't; leaving behind jagged lines or peeled wall paint. As I began dropping the idea of perfection, I gained more perspective on leaving things a little imperfect in order to help with that process.
